It’s always such an honour to be asked to capture a couple’s big day and especially nice to be part of their life journey. When Sarah and Jason came to see me for their engagement shoot earlier in the year, I knew they were going to be a great pair to photograph and couldn’t wait until their special day.
Sarah and Jason broke with tradition, getting ready together at home, which put me in a very privileged position to capture some very tender moments. From the minute I arrived at their home, the emotions of the day were already starting to show. Sarah simply looked gorgeous and Jason very handsome, so no wonder they both shed a few tears when they saw each other for the first time - they even had me welling up behind the lens!
Sarah and Jason arrived at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Musselburgh. in style in a vintage car courtesy of Ecosse Classic Wedding Cars. A blustery November morning couldn’t stop them from making their way down the isle. After a beautiful service surrounded by close friends and family, guests were whisked to the reception in a vintage double decker bus. However not until I stole the happy couple for a few fun shots with the bus - Jason nailed the movie star kiss first time!
Their reception was held at the Double Tree Hotel right in the heart of Edinburgh which served up some of the best back drops of Edinburgh Castle you could want.
Congratulations again Sarah and Jason - you both looked amazing and I’m so happy you chose me to capture your special day!
It’s time for you both to grab a glass of wine and re live your wedding day - your gallery awaits!
