When my ex-work colleague, Rob Casey approached me to see if I would take part in a mini documentary about my love of steam, my initial thoughts were to run away and hide (I've never been one to step into the limelight). But I thought beyond that and after some consideration decided what better way to tell my kids and my future grand kids of the wonderful hobby I am so lucky to have? I love to spend my time, not just with the engines, but with the people of Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway. To be a part of keeping one of Britain's heritage railways alive is an honour and one which I am proud to share. So, here it is - the finished edit. The crew have done the most amazing job - they even scooped an award for it at it's premier in Glasgow last night! They have certainly got across my passion for those metal workhorses that have kept Britain running for so many years. Getting down and dirty?! You bet ya! Enjoy!
If you would like to visit the Bo'ness and Kinneil railway, or offer your time to volunteer, why not drop them a line through their website?
