Where can I even begin on Emma and Jack’s special day? Set in luxurious surroundings and filled with every emotion, their day was just perfection from start to finish: A beautiful bride, a handsome groom and a family bursting with love.
Adorned in classic jewels and a stunning Stella York dress from Sophia Grace Couture in Haddington. All matched perfectly with the most incredible veil - Emma was definitely the dream bride!
Emma and Jack chose the Cringletie House Hotel as their venue. A perfect retreat in the Scottish Borders for a wedding as elegant as theirs.
As a proud Dad lead Emma down the Isle she was met by Jack, who looked very handsome in his Arrochar Check Kilt outfit.
The couple said their ‘I Dos’ in front of family and friends, there was not a dry eye in sight.
After a warm and heartfelt ceremony, conducted by Liz Paxton, Emma and Jack were piped out in style to be met by their loved ones, after a scattering of confetti, of course!
..and then it was off into the magical woodlands surrounding Cringletie for their fairy-tale wedding photographs.
And not forgetting that magnificent veil to steal a kiss or two behind…….
Emma and Jack’s day was spectacular in every way - there was even a stunning fireworks display that set the skies ablaze..just before they cut into their gorgeous cake!
Emma and Jack’s first dance was amazing - so touching and romantic. All eyes were on them as the inseparable pair gracefully swayed around the dance floor as close as close can be.
Their first dance was swiftly followed by a father and daughter dance, filled with pure love and admiration from a father to his daughter. Their strong bond was evident throughout the day: from the moment he first laid eyes on his daughter in her wedding dress, then arm in arm down the isle and finally their special dance. The pride and emotion was so clear. And all daughters know their dads will always have that special place in their heart.
And what better way to end their dance than with a huge family group hug, spurred on by a doting Nana and Grandad!
As I took my last few shot it came to mind how special days like this are, not only because two people come together, but entire families do too. Watching a family cuddle definitely gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling. Every part of family is to be cherished and I really hope that by capturing these special moments, those feelings of love and closeness will feel as fresh now as they did then in the centre of that giant hug!
Thank you so much Emma and Jack for choosing me to cover your amazing day. It was fantastic from start to finish and I can’t wait to get working on your album! X
