Project Paddington

Recently a group of mums in Peebles and Innerleithen got together to support Project Paddington; a way to help refugee children via sponsorship of a teddy bear, which then makes it's way to a child in need of some comfort.  It is a great way to raise awareness and funds where they're needed.

Today, Happy Feet in Peebles took part in a Teddy Bear's Picnic, to help raise awareness.  The kids had a great time getting their face-painting by Joanne Rorison and then devouring lots of scrummy-yummy cakes and biscuits, along with their teddy-companions!

Below is a small selection of images from the day.  You can view more on the gallery (if you were present at the picnic please email me to obtain a password).  Any profits made from prints sold from the gallery will be donated to Project Paddington.

If you would like to sponsor one of our bears, before it makes it's way to a refugee child, please get in touch! Alternatively we can send you a sponsor form and name tag, so that you or a child can send a bear of their own.
