I had a great weekend, working with the girls at Eribe. The sun was shining and we had the marvelous garden at Bylands, their head office, to work with.

I've done a variety of images to mark Emilia's milestone six months. I wanted to try something a bit different from the usual softly lit, pastel coloured baby photos that you see a lot of. These were done on her sofa in her bedroom, using just one off-camera flash. We finished off with a tongue-in-cheek shot to celebrate the end of part of my degree in environmental science :)
I've noticed this year how many buttercups there are! It seems almost every field nearby is filled with dancing golden flowers. Since my little flower is six months old, I thought would be nice to mark the mile-stone set against a backdrop of green and yellow - add one cuddly brown dog and it was the recipe for a perfect photoshoot!
What a glorious day for a mini photo session!! The Bairns Beltane Boogie is going to be held on Saturday 15th June from 10-12 at The MacFarlane Hall, Peebles. Wear red & white and put on your dancing shoes ....The Peebles March Riders and Beltane Queen Festival are hosting the event...There will be lots of snacks available to buy plus face-painting & tattoos!

I had a fantastic time this morning photographing the gorgeous Poppy! She was bags of fun - and so very, very cute! Thanks so much to Jane and Paul for going along with my ideas, especially as cupcakes aren't the staple diet of a soon-to-be one year old! X
...someone is teething, and so, they were wide awake at 5am this morning! As soon as she was put into our bed for cuddles however, the little monster fell back into a peaceful sleep - leaving us wide awake!! Oh, well, made for some cute pictures, anyhow!
....is not so dull with beautiful things like this to photograph!!
My husband and I are big into our mountain biking...so, it goes without saying that one of the first presents Emilia received was a bike...although it's a bit too big just yet!! It didn't stop us having great fun doing a wee photo-shoot over the weekend, though...
